Collection of personal data
By personal data we mean any information that identifies you either directly or indirectly, within the meaning of article 4.1 of GDPR.
On our websites, applications, and services, data collection is limited to the strict minimum according to the service we offer you.
By default, we do not collect any personal data on our websites, applications, and services (IP address is anonymized by obfuscating the 3 last digits). It means that you can navigate on our websites, applications and services without having to share any personal data with us (except for features where personal data are required to deliver the service, i.e. email address to send a newsletter).
We may collect technical data about your device, your browser or your use of our website or service to optimize and adapt it to your technical environment. These data cannot personally identify you, neither directly nor indirectly.
Our websites use “WP statistics” plugin to analyze traffic data. This plugin is set so as to not save complete IP addresses to preserve the anonymity of users. Anonymous data are collected to measure the audience of our websites and improve the proposed services.
Each time we collect personal data, we collect only strictly necessary data to achieve the purpose of the service we offer and that you would like to use (e.g. your email address in case of subscription to the newsletter).
We don’t share or disclose your personal data with third party outside Codinsight.

Retention
Personal data are stored during the period of your use of our services. You can opt out of services’ subscriptions or delete your accounts at any time in your personal dashboard of the application. At the same time, you will be informed of the retention period of your personal data. At the end of this period, your personal data are automatically deleted, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (for example for regulatory purposes).
You will be informed at each step of the processing of your personal data.
Legal basis of treatment
The processing of your personal data on our websites, services and applications is based on one of the following:
- Your consent for all cases where you entrust your personal data (your consent can of course be withdrawn at any time, for example to indicate your wish to stop receiving the newsletter).
- A contract (or terms of use) when you create an account on one of our platforms.
- A legal requirement (invoice for example).
- The legitim interest of the Codinsight company.
In all cases, the legal basis of the treatment of your personal data is indicated at the time of data collection.
Rights of persons
You have a right of access, rectification, deletion, limitation, as well as a right to the portability of your data. You may object, subject to justifying a legitimate reason, to the processing of this data.
